I somehow resisted urge to just pull the plug, I instead did a full shutdown via Windows. And showed a sudden spike to 511C!!! I guess that was highest available? All mining cards usually between 63-66C daily. After I comprehended the fan sound, I tabbed to Afterburner to check stats, and two of the mining cards had gone auto 100% on the fans. I had been playing Crysis, had noticed some tearing, had never before, wasn't sure what to think, was still just processing the observation. The other day I was gaming along, and from the case I started to hear the loud sound of fans. These two are in SLI for gaming but switched off of SLI for mining, and these two mine in Graphics mode unless I know the period will be extended. The 2 onboard just daily use and heavy gaming, switch to mining when otherwise not in use. Other specs are:ΔΆ of the cards are in the first 16x slots, the rest are connected by risers. I personally do not think it is a hardware issue, I think somehow software related. I have done nothing recent to speak of in the way of updates or other changes. Has been running fine for just over a year. I was not sure where to start this post, as it has a couple of elements, motherboard and graphics cards.
